Dutch CORE acquires rights to My Word Against Mine
We are pleased to announce that Dutch CORE has acquired the rights to My Word Against Mine, the acclaimed documentary by Maasja Ooms.
One in ten people hear voices. In this powerful and innovative film, a group of voice-hearers undergoes a revolutionary form of treatment in which a psychiatrist invites the voices themselves into the conversation—revealing their origins, intentions, and underlying needs.
An intriguing document, My Words Against Mine offers a rare and deeply engaging insight into the process of moving from resistance toward acceptance of threatening and self-defeating inner voices. The film has been awarded Best Dutch Documentary at IDFA 2025 and has already been acquired by VRT.
