Today the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam kicks off! From 9 until 20 november Amsterdam buzzes with excitement to see the latest pieces of art from the world of documentary. As Dutch CORE, we have some very special films to share with you.
Inside My Heart (nominated for the Dutch Competition) gives the stage to the dark fairy tale 'Furia' as performed by Kamak, a theater company from Belgium that employs professional actors with intellectual disabilities.
In a series of moving short films, Children of the Labyrinth presents the letters that refugee parents in Greece have written to their child. In a very intimate way, these parents reveal who they are – motivated by the most commonly held, universal wish: that of a better future for one’s children.
